Ezekiel "Zeke" Elliot - Running Back - Ohio State

Ezekiel, or, Zeke Elliot, enters the NFL Draft as an underclassman and will try to prove he wasn't just a product of the Ohio State system- a system known to inflate running back stats. In his final two years, Elliot tore up the NCAA with nearly 3,700 yards, 41 touchdowns, and a 6.58 yards per carry average.

Strengths:

+ Excellent combination of shiftiness and power. Quick and light feet combined with balance give him an excellent repertoire of moves he can choose from to make a defender miss.

+ Can stop on a dime and sees cutback lanes like a 5 year veteran.

+ Great vision and knows how to run behind his blockers in a similar fashion to Arian Foster. Plenty of burst when shooting through a hole.

+ Breaks tackles without losing much steam. Arm tackles simply don't bring him down.

+ Extremely passionate player.

Weaknesses:

- Inconsistent in pass-protection. Goes for the "big hit" too often and results in some whiffs. Doesn't consistently hold his positioning on blocks.

- The vast majority of his runs were from a shotgun set. Can he adapt his style to running with the quarterback under center?

Player Comparison: Mix of Jeremy Hill and Arian Foster
